2009 Ford Flex at $32,790
The mid-level SEL model adds dual-zone climate control, a 10-way power heated driver's seat and 6-way power heated passenger's seat, EasyFold 2nd-row seats that slide on tracks, 6-disc CD Changer with Sirius satellite radio, additional chrome brightwork on the exterior and 18-inch machined aluminum wheels. It starts at $32,790 for FWD and $34,710 for AWD.
Finally there's the top-level Flex Limited that adds heated 1st- and 2nd-row heated leather-trimmed seats, HID headlights, a Sony stereo with Sirius satellite radio and Ford's Sync technology, a power rear liftgate, LED taillights and 19-inch polished aluminum wheels. The Flex Limited will start at $37,000 for FWD and $38,920 for AWD.
A full list of additional options and their price are included below, but the highlights include a MINI-like two-tone roof for $250, Sync for the SE or SEL at $360, DVD navigation for $1,800, a Vista Roof for $1,290 and rear console refrigeration for $670. The most expensive Flex we could build came to a grand total of $46,170, although we think the actual limit will be lower since Ford's site allowed us to choose both the Power Moonroof option and the Vista Roof, which likely can't be chosen for the same vehicle.
